Partner: International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)
This report is an output of a joint research study commissioned by IUCN under the Ecosystems for Life (E4L) Project. The Ecosystems for Life, a Bangladesh-India Initiative, is an IUCN led multi-stakeholder dialogue process to promote insights into transboundary issues. The research partners for the study were Aaranyak, India, Institute of Water Modelling (IWM), Bangladesh and Centre for Natural Resource Studies (CNRS), Bangladesh. The report provides a comprehensive overview about the status of wetlands dependent on transboundary rivers in Bangladesh and India and reliable policy relevant information to stimulate transboundary dialogue trends and status of wetlands. The EG team edited, designed and printed the pithy report in a clean, white intensive design with an uncluttered layout for larger outreach and stakeholder engagement on a critical subject.
